On the Toolbar, go to TOOLS and select ACCOUNTS. Select the MAIL tab and click the ADD button, choose MAIL. |

| 2. | Type in the name you want your email recipients to see.![]() |
| 3. | Insert the EMAIL ADDRESS we have allocated you.![]() |
| 4. | Enter the name of the POP3 and SMTP servers we sent
you in your Site Technical Notes.![]() |
| 5. | Enter the LOGIN ID and PASSWORD we sent you
in your Site Technical Notes.![]() |
| 6. | Click NEXT and then FINISH. Outlook Express will tell you your new email account is set up, BUT it is not - it is very important to complete the following steps: |
| 7. | Once again, on the Toolbar, go to TOOLS and select ACCOUNTS. Select the MAIL tab, you will see your new email account, identified by the name of your POP3 server. Click on the account and highlight it, then click the PROPERTIES button. ![]() |
| 8. | If you wish, on the GENERAL tab you will have the opportunity
to overwrite the POP3 Server name with your own choice of name, e.g.
'Main
email account'.![]() |
| 9. | Go to the SERVERS tab and in the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER section, tick the
box 'MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION'.![]() |
| 10. | Press OK. Your email account is now fully operational. Important note: If you regularly send emails with large attachments you can use up your monthly allocation of bandwidth very quickly. In these cases we recommend that you change your email settings to send your email through your Internet Service Provider's mail server and just use your Ready2Web server to receive email. (Don't worry, the emails will still appear to recipients to have come from your Ready2Web email address.) To set up your email account to do this, read on: |
| 11. | Once again, on the Toolbar, go to TOOLS and select ACCOUNTS. Select the MAIL tab, you will see your new email account, identified by the name you have given it, or by its original name POP3 Server. Click on the account and highlight it, then click the PROPERTIES button. ![]() |
| 12. | Go to the SERVERS tab and change the OUTGOING MAIL (SMTP) server name
to that given to you by your ISP. Then, in the OUTGOING MAIL SERVER section click on the SETTINGS button. ![]() |
